Constantina participated in a long-scale MRI study on the effects of sex on gray matter asymmetry, coordinated by Dr. Christian Stephan-Otto (Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, Spain) and published in Brain, Structure and Function. According to the study’s findings, women are systematically more symmetric than men in several brain regions, including those typically involved in language production.
